Xiaomi will launch the Redmi K50i in India later this month. The company will launch its first Redmi K-series smartphone after nearly three years in India. The K50i will launch on July 20. It is dubbed to be a rebadged version of the Poco X4 GT, aka the Redmi Note 11T Pro 5G.

Xiaomi is yet to confirm the key specifications of the phone. However, based on the design revealed in the teaser poster, it is safe to say that the rebranding rumours are true. The K50i will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC. The premium chipset is found in the likes of the OnePlus 10R, Realme GT Neo 3, etc. The latest teaser from the company reveals that the K50i manages to beat the iPhone 13’s A15 Bionic on the AnTuTu benchmark.

Redmi India shared a screenshot of the device’s AnTuTu benchmark comparison with the iPhone 13’s A15 (4-core GPU) SoC and Snapdragon 888 SoC. The A15 and Snapdragon 888 scored 8,04,131 and 7,82,653 points respectively. In comparison, the Dimensity 8100-powered Redmi K50i scored 8,22,274.

We exclusively revealed that the K50i price in India will be under Rs 30,000. For a phone in the upper mid-range, it will be quite some feat to beat flagship chipsets on AnTuTu.
