Redmi K60 Series Display Specifications and Features Revealed Ahead of December 27 Launch

The Redmi K60 series is rumoured to feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display.


Redmi K60 series is set to debut on December 27. The company has confirmed that it will launch the K60 Pro as its new flagship smartphone. Alongside, there will be the Redmi K60e and the K60. The company has started teasing the specifications and features of the upcoming Redmi flagship smartphones. Xiaomi has now dropped another teaser, which reveals the display specifications of the K60 series.

According to the latest teaser, the K60 series will come with a flat display. There were rumours about the K60 Pro sporting a curved display. The latest teaser reveals the front of the device, which shows a flat panel with a hole-punch cutout at the top centre.

In addition to the design teaser of the front panel, Xiaomi has also confirmed some of the features of the display. For starters, the K60 series phone will offer up to 2K resolution support. The 12-bit display will have a wide P3 colour gamut and 1920Hz PWM dimming support.

The screen will also be brighter than ever. Xiaomi’s upcoming Redmi flagship smartphones will have a display with a peak brightness of 1400 nits. The display will support HDR10+, and Dolby Vision and have a pixel density of 526PPI.

Xiaomi did not reveal the display size but according to rumours, the Redmi K60 series will feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. The devices will also support a 120Hz refresh rate. The company has already confirmed that the K60 Pro will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, whereas the K60e will get the new MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC. The vanilla K60 will feature a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

The company has also confirmed that the phones will come with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

In addition to this, the design of the K60 series was also revealed. The phone will sport a rectangular camera module on the back. There will be a triple-camera setup with an LED flash inside the camera module. There are two circular cutouts and a square-shaped one for the three sensors. The text on the back of the camera module confirms that the main camera supports optical image stabilisation (OIS).

Some leaked details suggest that the vanilla model will pack a 5500mAh battery and offer 67W fast charging and 30W wireless charging support. The K60 Pro is likely to offer 120W fast charging and 30W wireless charging support. The K60e, which will be the baseline model, will support 67W wireless charging.

One of the Redmi K60 series phones is said to come with a 50MP triple-camera setup. The other device is rumoured to feature a 64MP triple-camera setup. Lastly, the K60 and K60 Pro will support Android 13-based MIUI 14 out of the box, whereas the K60e could boot MIUI 13 based on Android 12.
