Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is expected to launch the Redmi K70 series smartphones in China in early December. The details related to the Redmi K70 lineup have started coming in courtesy of certification. The vanilla Redmi K70 model was spotted at 3C certification a couple of days back. The 3C certification revealed that the device will offer 90W fast charging support. Now, in a recent development, the display specification as well as the design details of the Redmi K70 Pro have been leaked by tipster Digital Chat Station.

Redmi K70 Pro Tipped To Feature 2K Resolution Display

The new information shared by tipster Digiatl Chat Station indicates that the Redmi K70 Pro will feature a flat display with a 2K resolution. The display panel will have slim bezels, a higher screen-to-body ratio, and a few improvements to the brightness-dimming capabilities. The information shared by the tipster also reveals that the device will metal middle frame and a newly coated glass body. Furthermore, the handset is also tipped to include a horizontally arranged large matrix for its camera module.

The recent leak had revealed that the K70 Pro will pack a 5,120mAh battery which could offer support up to 120W fast charging. The Redmi K70 Pro and the vanilla K70 model is expected to feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, while the K70E could be powered by Dimensity 9200+ chipset.


The Redmi K70 and the K70E could debut in the global market under the POCO branding, while the Redmi K70 Pro might remain exclusive to China. At present, Xiaomi has not announced the launch date of the device. A recent leak indicates that Xiaomi could introduce the Redmi K70 series in China as early as December.

The upcoming Redmi K70 series will be arriving as a successor to the Redmi K60 lineup which debuted in December last year. The Redmi K60 series includes three devices namely the Redmi K60, K60 Pro, and K60 Ultra. All these three smartphones feature a 6.67-inch OLED display which has a 1440 x 3200 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Redmi K60 is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, while the other two devices use Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Dimensity 9200+ chipset respectively. The Redmi K60 Pro and the K60 Ultra pack a 5,000mAh battery which supports 120W fast charging, while the K70E packs a 5,500mAh battery capacity, offering 67W fast charging support.
