Redmi seems to be going through some transitions. Just a couple of days ago, it was revealed that the Redmi 11 Series could offer 120W fast charging and a popular tipster suggested that upcoming Redmi smartphones might come with a customised version of MIUI. The Redmi Note 11 phones are expected to launch in early 2022. However, we are already starting to know more about the device before the launch and if the sources are to be believed then there will be at least two models under the new, refreshed lineup- Redmi Note 11 5G and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. In China, the phones may be launched before Single’s Day i.e. November 11. Just like last year, Xiaomi may go ahead and introduce a Redmi Note 11 Pro Max, with the hardware almost the same as the Redmi Note 11 Pro, but with a bigger display and different primary camera. That is also a possibility, we can’t ignore. But, the tipster suggested a few other hardware aspects of the devices as well. However, there is no word yet from Xiaomi regarding their next bunch of Redmi Note smartphones.

Redmi Note 11 5G Specifications
According to the tipster, the phone will offer 5G connectivity and should sport an LCD with a high refresh rate of 120Hz, which is getting more and more common these days. There would be a 50-megapixel rear primary camera, probably something similar to that on the OnePlus 9RT, while on the front, the phone may carry a 13-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. According to the sister, the phone will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 810 chipset, coupled with 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. The device will pack a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
Redmi Note 11 5G Price
The variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage should be priced at around 1,199 Yuan or Rs 14,000 whereas the variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage would be priced at 1,599 Yuan or Rs 18600. Though, these are merely speculated pricing we can’t ignore them completely by looking at the rising price tags of Redmi Note series smartphones, as they tend to be the best selling smartphone lineup in India, every year.
Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G Specifications
According to the tips, Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 920 chipset coupled with 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB onboard storage in three variants- 6GB RAM+128GB storage, 8GB RAM+128GB storage and 8GB RAM+256GB storage. The phone, however, is said to offer an OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate instead of LCD and there is a 108-megapixel primary camera on the back and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. According to the tipster, the phone will carry a 5000mAh battery and will support 67W fast charging. If this is true then it could be a piece of disappointing news for Redmi fans, but still, the phone will come with X-axis linear motor, JBL powered stereo speakers and NFC.
Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G Price
As mentioned earlier, the phone will come in three variants based on RAM and storage- 6GB RAM+128GB storage, 8GB RAM+128GB storage and 8GB RAM+256GB storage. These variants are said to be priced at 1,599 Yuan, 1,799 Yuan and 1,999 Yuan. These figures translate to Rs 18600, Rs 20900 and Rs 23300.
So, basically, the top variant of the Redmi Note 11 will cost the same as the base variant of the Note 11 Pro. That means again a fight will erupt between those who love Redmi but some of them prefer AMOLED or OLED while others are fine with LCD. However, everything mentioned here is based on tips and these are not the official words from Xiaomi, so actual specifications and pricing may vary. Also, though the devices may launch in China sooner than expected, it may eventually be 2022 when we get our hands on these new shiny new phones!
