Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch of the upcoming Redmi Note 11S launch in India. The device will debut in the country on February 9. Ahead of the launch, Xiaomi will launch the Redmi Note 11 series globally. The company is expected to launch multiple smartphones under the lineup on January 26. Xiaomi Nepal has now confirmed some key details of the vanilla Redmi Note 11.

Redmi Note 11 Global Specifications

Redmi Note 11 Global is expected to be different in terms of specs from the one launched in China. Xiaomi Nepal’s teaser post confirms that the Note 11 will feature an AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. While this was expected, the company is now upgrading the device’s display by providing 90Hz refresh rate support as well.

The image also confirms that there will be a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the screen for the front camera. In addition to this, the phone will also feature dual speakers. As per the leaked specs, the global variant will feature a 6.43-inch display. It will pack a 5000 mAh battery and support 33W fast charging.

The Redmi smartphone will also sport a quad-camera setup on the back with a 50MP main camera sensor. It will be accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide camera and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note series device will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chip. It means that the device will support 4G LTE and not 5G. It will come in two storage options at least. The base model will pack 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage. The higher storage option with 128GB memory will have 6GB of RAM. As expected, there will be support for microSD storage expansion.

The phone will run MIUI 13 out of the box but on top of Android 11. Xiaomi is expected to release the Android 12 update for the device in the coming days. The phone is expected to launch in India in February or March 2022. We can expect the device’s price to be under Rs 15,000 in India.
