Redmi has unveiled its Redmi Note 11 series of smartphones in India, which consists of two new phones – the Redmi Note 11 and Redmi Note 11S. Xiaomi unveiled the entire Redmi Note 11 series globally, a few weeks ago. The new series comes as a successor of the Redmi Note 10 series launched last year.

Redmi Note 11, Note 11S: Price in India and Sale Date

The Redmi Note 11 series phones will be available on Amazon, Mi store, and offline retailers from 21 February 2022. The Redmi Note 11 comes in three storage configurations – 4GB+64GB priced at Rs 13,499, 4GB+128GB priced at Rs 14,999, and 6GB+128GB priced at Rs 15,999.

The Redmi Note 11S also comes in three storage configurations – 6GB+64GB priced at Rs 16,499, 6GB+128GB priced at Rs 17,499, and 8GB+128GB priced at Rs 18,499. Both phones will be available in three colours – Space Black, Polar White and Horizon Blue.

Redmi Note 11, Note 11S: Full Specifications

Both phones feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. The phones come with a 90Hz screen refresh rate along with a DCI-P3 colour gamut and 1000 nits peak brightness.

The vanilla Note 11 comes with a Snapdragon 680 SoC under the hood paired with an Adreno 610 GPU while the Note 11S draws power from a MediaTek Helio G96 processor paired with Mali G-57 GPU. Both devices have LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The phones weigh 179 grams and measure 159 x 73 x 8.09mm. The Redmi Note 11S features 3GB of virtual RAM while the vanilla Note 11 features 2GB of virtual RAM.

For the optics, the Note 11 features a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, it has a 13MP front camera. On the other hand, the Note 11S features a 108MP Samsung HM2 sensor accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide camera and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro. It has a 16MP front camera sensor. There is a hole-punch cutout at the top center of the screen for the front camera on both devices.

Both devices run Android 11 based MIUI 13 out of the box and pack a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Other features of the devices include a side fingerprint sensor, AI face unlock, microSD support, Bluetooth 5.0, Dual speakers with Hi-Res Audio certification. Sensors on the devices are Proximity, Ambient Light, Accelerometer, Electronic compass, IR blaster, Gyroscope.
