Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of two new Redmi Note series smartphones. The company will launch the Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro Plus 5G soon in India. Both Note 11 series smartphones are set to make their India debut on March 9. The company has already launched the Redmi Note 11 Pro series in European markets.

The Note 11 Pro+ 5G will launch as a rebadged Note 11 Pro 5G. Both phones share a lot of hardware. The Pro+ 5G has a Snapdragon 695 SoC, whereas the vanilla Note 11 Pro has a MediaTek Helio G96 chipset. Redmi Note 11 Pro India Launch

Redmi Note 11 Pro and Pro Plus 5G will launch in India on March 9. The standard Note 11 Pro will be a 4G smartphone offering in India. Xiaomi has already confirmed some of the Redmi Note 11 Pro specs in India. For starters, the devices will come with 67W fast charging support. There will be a 108MP main camera sensor. The devices will also have a 120Hz refresh rate display.

The teased specifications are similar to the global models. Therefore, the India-specced options are likely to feature the same hardware.

Specifications and Features

Both phones have a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. The screen has a 120Hz refresh rate support and a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. On the back, the Note 11 Pro Plus 5G will have a triple-camera setup. It has a 108MP main camera sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. The standard Note 11 Pro 4G gets an additional 2MP depth sensor.

For selfies, both phones have a 16MP front camera sensor. The devices also come with a 5000 mAh battery. Both support 67W fast charging out of the box. The Note 11 Pro models also come with dual speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. They run Android 11 out of the box and have a layer of MIUI 13 on top. It is possible that Xiaomi might announce the Android 12 update timeline for the Note 11 series at the launch.

In terms of performance, the 5G variant has a Snapdragon 695 SoC. The 4G variant comes with a MediaTek Helio G96 SoC under the hood.
