Redmi is all set to launch its new budget phone, Redmi Note 11 SE in India this month. Surprisingly, the company revealed everything about the phone except its price before the launch. By going through the specs, the phone seems to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 10S that launched last year. While we have lost count of how many smartphones Redmi has launched in the Note 11 series, this is going to be the latest one. The phone was spotted in July this year and was expected to launch soon. Now that the wait for the launch is almost over, here’s what to expect from the Redmi Note 11 SE smartphone.

The Redmi Note 11 SE launch date was announced two days ago in a surprising manner. The company has set the smartphone launch date to be August 26. Xiaomi will launch the device in India via Flipkart. A teaser page on Flipkart has confirmed the same. The company might not be doing any launch event for the same and launch the product directly on the e-commerce platform.

Redmi Note 11 SE Expected Price in India

The Redmi Note 11 SE will be a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 10S in India, so we can expect the pricing to be close to each other. The Redmi Note 10S is currently available in India at a starting price of Rs 12,499, so we can speculate that Xiaomi will also launch this at the same price or maybe Rs 1,000 up or down. Xiaomi will price it somewhere between Rs 12,000 to Rs 13,000.

In a weird manner, Xiaomi has already revealed the specifications of the Note 11 SE via a product page on its website. Here’s everything it will pack under the hood.

AMOLED Display

The device is confirmed to feature an AMOLED display. It’s a standard 60Hz refresh rate display which is rare in 2022. This AMOLED display comes at the cost of a high refresh rate. The handset will feature a 6.43-inch display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. It will have a hole-punch camera cutout at the top-centre.

64MP Quad Camera Setup

The Redmi Note 11 SE will feature a quad rear camera setup. The 64MP primary camera sensor will be accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens and two 2MP sensors for shooting depth and macro. On the back, it will have the same camera module as the Redmi Note 10S and have a LED flash as well. The handset will be able to capture 4K video recording at 30fps.

Mediatek Helio G95

The handset will get its power from a budget gaming chipset, Mediatek Helio G95. For the graphics duties, it will have an ARM Mali-G76 GPU. The System-On Chip (SoC) will be coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

5000mAh Battery

The Redmi Note 11 SE is packed with a beefy 5,000mAh battery unit that will support 33W fast charging. However, going by the box unit mentioned on the product page, it seems that the handset might not ship with a charger in the box.

The Redmi Note 11 SE is confirmed to boot Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 out of the box. For selfies, the device could pack a 13MP front shooter. Other features will include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers, Z Axis vibration motor, Corning Gorilla glass protection, IP53 water resistance, and more.
