Redmi Note 11 Series Global Launch Officially Announced to Take Place on January 26

The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G will be equipped with a 4,700mAh battery and 67W fast charging support.

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 11 lineup back in October in the Chinese market. Now, the brand is gearing up to launch the Redmi Note 11 series devices. The Redmi Note 11 series devices will launch on January 26th in the Global markets.

The Chinese tech company is expected to launch three handsets under the Note 11 series in the global market – Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. Xiaomi took to Twitter to make a formal announcement for the same.

Redmi Note 11 Series: What we know so far!

The Redmi Note 11 series devices for global markets will be entirely different compared to the Chinese Redmi Note 11 models. To those unaware, the Redmi Note 11 5G Chinese variant has model number 21091116A. The handset was launched as POCO M4 Pro 5G in Global markets and Redmi Note 11T 5G in the Indian market.

On the other hand, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G Chinese variants carry model numbers 21091116 and 21091116U respectively. These handsets were launched as Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge respectively in India.

Xiaomiui – a famous Xiaomi-focused channel spotted the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G global variants on the IMEI database. The IMEI database listing revealed that the Redmi Note 11 Pro global variant will carry model number 2201116TG. Whereas, the Note 11 Pro 5G global variant will carry model number 2201116SG.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G was model number 2201116SG was earlier spotted on the FCC certification website. The FCC listing revealed that the handset will come pre-loaded with MIUI 13 and retail in three configurations – 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is also confirmed to feature a 4,700mAh battery unit with 67W fast charging support. It will be the first Redmi Note series device in the global market to support 67W fast charging. IMEI listing also reveals that the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G will launch as POCO X4 Pro 5G as well.

The Redmi Note 11 global variant will retail in three storage-memory configurations – 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB, and 6GB + 128GB.
