Redmi is working on a new smartphone with model number 2201116SR for global markets. Seems like the same handset will also launch under POCO branding in some markets. Earlier this morning, we spotted the FCC listing for both these handsets with model numbers 2201116SR (Redmi) and 2201116PG (POCO).

Previous rumours suggest that the POCO 2201116PG might be the upcoming POCO X4 NFC. Whereas, the Redmi 2201116SR could be the Redmi Note 11T Pro. Let us take a closer look at Redmi 2201116SR and POCO 2201116PG FCC listing details.

Redmi Note 11T Pro and POCO X4 NFC will share a lot in common!

The similarity in the model numbers suggests that these devices will come with similar specifications. In fact, one of these might be a rebadged version of the other. FCC listing reveals that both these handsets are 5G-enabled and will boot MIUI 13. The listing also reveals that these handsets will support dual-band WiFi which means the support for 2.4GHz and 5GHz will be onboard.

To recall, the alleged POCO X4 NFC with the same model number was spotted on the IMEI database back in November. Its Indian counterpart with model number 2201116PI had also appeared on the IMEI database alongside, so that could be the POCO X4. It has been more than a year since the POCO X3 NFC and the POCO X3 were introduced.

To recall, the POCO X3 and X3 NFC come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 732 processor, 64MP rear camera setup, and 120Hz refresh rate display. The POCO X3 NFC packs a 5,000mAh battery. Whereas, its Indian counterpart – POCO X3 comes equipped with a 6,000mAh battery. The POCO X4 and POCO X4 NFC will likely be the first handsets under the POCO X-series to come with 5G support.
