Redmi Note 11T Pro Series Said to Launch as Redmi K50i Series in India and Poco X4 GT Series Globally

Xiaomi‘s Redmi launched the Note 11T Pro series just yesterday in China. The Redmi Note 11T series consists of two handsets – the Redmi Note 11T Pro and the Redmi Note 11T Pro+. Right after the launch, Kacper Skrzypek took it to Twitter to share that the Redmi Note 11T Pro will launch as the Redmi K50i in India. Kacper further reveals that the Note 11T Pro will launch in global markets as the Poco X4 GT.

Also, as per his claim, the Redmi Note 11T Pro+ will launch as the Poco X4 GT Pro and the Redmi K50i Pro in global and Indian markets respectively. However, Kacper claims that the Redmi K50i Pro and Poco X4 GT Pro will come with a 108MP camera compared to 64MP on their Chinese counterpart. Based on this, it appears that Xiaomi is planning to bring back the Redmi K-series to the Indian market.

The Redmi Note 11T Pro carries the codename xaga. Whereas the Note 11T Pro+ is codenamed xagapro. Kacper reveals that the Poco X4 GT and the Poco X4 GT Pro will carry the same codename as that of the Note 11T Pro. Further, the tipster claims that the Redmi K50i and the Redmi K50i Pro will be codenamed xagain and xagainpro.

The Redmi Note 11T Pro and the 11T Pro+ offer a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD display with 650nits peak brightness, HDR10, and Dolby Vision. The display panel on the Note 11T Pro refreshes at 120Hz. Whereas, the Pro+ variant comes with a 144Hz refresh rate display.

Under the hood, the latest Redmi Note series handsets are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor and a Mali G610 GPU. These handsets pack up to 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The Redmi Note 11T Pro series devices offer a triple-rear camera setup including a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, these are equipped with 16MP front shooter.

The Redmi Note 11T Pro packs a 4400mAh battery unit with 67W fast charging support. Whereas, the Pro+ variant gets a 5080mAh battery with 120W fast charging. These handsets offer a Type-C charging port, 3.5mm audio jack, and stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos.
