Xiaomi recently launched the Redmi Note 12 5G series in the Indian market. For the first time, Xiaomi has launched only 5G-enabled smartphones under the Note series in the country. The vanilla Note 12 sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor and up to 6GB of RAM. It offers a Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Redmi Note 12 5G will be available for purchase starting at 12:00 PM, today (January 11) exclusively via Amazon and Mi Store.

As a launch offer, Xiaomi is offering a flat Rs 1,500 instant discount on each purchase via ICICI Credit (EMI and non-EMI) and Debit (EMI only) transactions. Also, HDFC Credit Card users can avail a flat Rs 1,000 discount on the purchase of Note 12 5G through Mi Store.

The all-new Note 12 5G flaunts a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display panel with a Full HD+ resolution, 1200nits peak brightness, and 120Hz refresh rate. The display panel supports a 45,00,000: 1 contrast ratio and offers 100% DCI-P3 Colour Gamut. The display panel features Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and makes room for a selfie shooter inside a centered punch-hole notch.

Under the hood, the latest Note series smartphone sports an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor that brings with it an integrated Adreno 619 GPU. It comes paired with up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS2.2 storage. The Redmi Note 12 5G boots MIUI 13, based on Android 12. Xiaomi is also promising two Android version updates and three years of security updates for the handset.

The all-new Note 12 5G sports a triple-rear camera setup including a high-resolution 48MP shooter that has an f/1.8 aperture. It gets accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro sensor. The smartphone offers a 13MP front shooter that has an f/2.45 aperture.
