Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 12 series last month in China. The company launched four new Redmi Note series phones. These include the Redmi Note 12, Note 12 Pro, Note 12 Pro+ and the Note 12 Explorer Edition with 210W fast charging. The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G launched in China is rumoured to launch in India as the Xiaomi 12i HyperCharge. There will of course be Redmi Note 12 series in India and other markets. However, the specifications of the phones will vary compared to the China variants.

Xiaomi is expected to launch the Redmi Note 12, Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro+ 5G globally. The devices will also show up in India sometime next year. While Xiaomi decides to confirm the launch date announcement for the global markets, the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G global variant has been spotted online.

The Note 12 Pro+ 5G global variant has been spotted on the FCC certification website. The phone has the model number 22101316UG. The FCC listing reveals that the Redmi smartphone will run MIUI 14 out of the box. Unfortunately, it is unclear if the device will boot Android 13 out of the box or if Xiaomi plans to launch MIUI 14 based on Android 12.

The same device was spotted on the IMEI database, which confirmed the model number and its associated moniker for the global markets. Other details about the Note 12 Pro+ 5G are unknown. While the listings do not reveal any other specifications, we can expect the phone to debut soon globally.

Xiaomi might unveil the device later this year in select markets. In India, the Note 12 Pro+ 5G could be available in January or February 2023. As mentioned earlier, the India variant will come with a different set of specs compared to the Chinese model. While we wait for more details on that front, here’s a quick look at the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G specifications from China.
