Xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi Note 12 Turbo in the Chinese market. The upcoming Note 12 series smartphone will launch on March 28 and will mark the commercial debut of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor. Ahead of the launch, the upcoming Redmi smartphone has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database, courtesy of 91mobiles.
Alongside, Xiaomi has also confirmed some of the key specifications of the upcoming Redmi Note 12 Turbo. As per a teaser, the upcoming Note 12 series smartphone will feature a chin narrower than that of the iPhone 14. Let us take a closer look at the details.
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo has the model number 23049RAD8C. The smartphone scored 1484 points in the single core round of the Geekbench 5 benchmark test. Whereas, in the multi-core round, the score was recorded as 4257 points. The benchmark listing confirms reveals the codename of the octa-core processor, that is marble.
The listing reaffirms that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor. The smartphone will come pre-loaded with Android 13. Xiaomi, via the launch teaser, confirms that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will feature a 5000mAH battery unit. The smartphone is confirmed to weigh 181 grams and it will be around 7.9mm in terms of thickness.

Xiaomi, via the official teasers, also claims that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will feature thinner bezels as compared to the iPhone 14 series. The bezels of the iPhone 14 measure 2.4mm. Compared to it, the Note 12 Turbo will have just 2.22mm thick chin. The top bezel of the upcoming Note 12 series device will measures 1.95mm. Whereas, the side bezels will measure 1.42mm. Xiaomi claims that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will have 93.45 screen to body ratio.
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo will feature a 3725mm vapour champer cooling which increases the heat dissipation capacity by 35%. The smartphone is confirmed the feature a triple-rear camera setup including a 64MP primary shooter. The Redmi Note 12 Turbo will feature a 3.5mm audio jack as well as an IR blaster. The smartphone will accomodate the Type-C charging port and SIM-Card tray along the bottom edge.
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo is also confirmed to offer a stereo speaker setup. The upcoming Note 12 series smartphone is tipped to be priced higher than the other Redmi Note 12 series handsets. It might be priced above RMB 2000 in the Chinese market.
