Redmi Note 12 series is set to get a new member soon. The company has confirmed that it will launch the Note 12 Turbo in China on March 28. The Note 12 Turbo will be the fifth smartphone in the lineup in China. The company has already launched the Note 12 5G, Note 12 Pro 5G, Note 12 Pro Plus 5G and Note 12 Pro Speed Edition. The upcoming Turbo phone will launch as an upper mid-range smartphone offering. Xiaomi has been teasing the specifications and features of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo ahead of its launch.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo Camera Specifications Teased
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo is confirmed to launch on March 28 in China. Ahead of its launch, the phone’s camera specs have been confirmed. Xiaomi revealed that the phone will feature a 64MP primary camera sensor. There is support for optical image stabilisation (OIS) as well. The main camera sensor will also feature support for in-sensor zoom, Xiaomi’s Image Brain 2.0 and a film camera as well.
The phone has a triple-camera setup. Xiaomi has not confirmed the camera specifications of the other two camera sensors. There are rumours of the phone featuring an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera.
In addition to this, Xiaomi has confirmed that the phone will feature support for multi-functional NFC, an X-axis linear motor, dual speakers, an IR Blaster and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device also supports Dolby Vision, Hi-Res audio and spatial audio.
In addition to this, the Note 12 Turbo is confirmed to feature the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC. The device will also launch with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. There will be a 5000mAh battery under the hood. It is said to support 67W fast charging out of the box.
The device is also confirmed to feature an OLED 120Hz display with support for 68.7 billion colours and HDR10+ certification. The 12-bit panel will offer a 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut and 1920Hz PWM Dimming. There are very thin bezels around the display, according to the company. The chin will be only 2.22mm thick, which is smaller than the iPhone 14 Pro’s 2.4mm chin bezel. The Note 12 Turbo’s side bezel will measure 1.42mm, whereas the top bezel will measure 1.95mm.
Lastly, the phone is said to be 7.9mm thick and weigh about 181 grams. It will run Android 13 out of the box and run MIUI 14 out of the box. Redmi is expected to launch the phone in markets outside China. It is likely to launch in various markets as the POCO F5 or X5 GT. More details about the same should surface on the web very soon.
