Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro to be Available on Open Sale via Flipkart and Mi Store Starting December 12

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro succeeded the Redmi Note 5 Pro (review) when it launched on October 22. Unfortunately, the device has been inaccessible to majority of customers, mostly due to the lack of stock. However, That’s going to change this week as the Redmi Note 6 Pro goes on an open sale this week, making it simpler for buyers to get their hands on the latest value-oriented handset.

Limited quantities of the Redmi Note 6 Pro could be due to the fact that Xiaomi wants to clear out its Redmi Note 5 Pro stock. The company has already been selling it for a lower price to make way for its successor. The Redmi Note 6 Pro is a good upgrade over the Redmi Note 5 Pro, and we’ll be talking about the differences right after giving you the details on the open sale.

Redmi Note 6 Pro Open Sale Details

The open sale will commence on December 12, with the smartphone being available at Flipkart and Mi Store. An open sale means that there will be a larger Redmi Note 6 Pro stock available for customers. You will no longer have to set a calendar note to purchase a phone. The smartphone starts from INR 13,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB variant, while the 6GB RAM + 64GB model costs INR 15,999.

If you can’t pay the amount upfront, Flipkart is offering it on EMIs starting from INR 465 per month. As part of its promotions, Flipkart has two bank offers. First up is a 10 percent discount up to a maximum of INR 100 on any Mastercard for the first online payment. The second offer is slightly better, giving you a 5 percent discount with maximum savings of INR 200 if you have an Axis Bank Buzz credit card. With a cap set to Rs 100 or 200, these offers are quite useless though.

The handset comes with a 1-year warranty for the Redmi Note 6 Pro, and a 6-month warranty for its accessories if you make a purchase through Flipkart. Coming to the offers on Mi Store, you get a 3-month subscription of Hungama Music, giving you unlimited streaming of audio and video songs for 90 days.

You can also secure your phone against accidental and liquid damage with Mi Protect for INR 999, which will remain valid for one year. The last offer gives you INR 2,400 cashback from Jio and up to 6TB of Jio 4G data.
