Since the Huawei Y9 (2019) has already launched in other countries, we already have an idea of what it will be priced at. Its base variant with 4GB RAM +64GB storage will likely be priced around INR 15,000, while an upgrade to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will cost close to INR 20,000. This smartphone is going to be an Amazon Exclusive product for Indian customers. Amazon India already has a promo page for this handset up on its site, which mentions that it will be offering a pair of Boat Rockerz Sports Bluetooth headphones worth INR 2,990 for free with each purchase. It is unclear how long this offer will last.
As for the specifications of this smartphone, we know that it comes with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD that offers Full HD+ resolution. There is a notch at the top which houses a 13MP + 2MP selfie camera setup. The back of the device also offers a dual camera setup comprised of a 16M + 2MP configuration. A HiSilicon Kirin 710 SoC powers the smartphone. Curiously, it still ships with Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.2 skin on top. A 4000mAh battery completes the package.

Xiaomi had already announced that a launch event would be taking place in Beijing today for its first Redmi-branded smartphone that would feature a 48MP camera. Reliable sources claim that this will likely be called the Redmi Note 7. The launch event is scheduled to take place at 2:00 PM local time, which translates to 11:30 AM IST. It is hard to say with complete certainty the exact specifications this upcoming Redmi handset will possess. Leaks in the past have pointed towards a 6.3-inch screen with a waterdrop notch at the top. This will likely be an LCD with a Full HD+ resolution. Furthermore, a Geekbench listing revealed the handset would be powered by a Snapdragon 660 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM. However, there are some who expect the phone to feature a Snapdragon 675 instead. The battery on this phone is said to be a 4000mAh cell.
Since the exact specifications are uncertain at this point, the pricing is also difficult to predict. With that said, knowing how all Redmi phones in the past have been either budget or mid-range handsets, we don’t think the Redmi Note 7 would be priced too outrageously. As such, a price tag in the INR 15,000 to INR 20,000 range should not be surprising.
