The Redmi Note series from Xiaomi has traditionally been the among company’s most popular devices in India. In fact, it would not be wrong on our part to state that this series of affordable devices single-handedly managed to catapult Xiaomi to the number one position in the Indian smartphones space. Currently, Xiaomi sells the Redmi Note 6 Series in India that includes the Redmi Note 6 and the Redmi Note 6 Pro. It is a known fact, however, that Xiaomi has already launched the Redmi Note 7 Series in its home market – China. While it is a given that the Redmi Note 7 series would eventually make it to India, Xiaomi did not really talk about a probable launch date. That was until today. Earlier in the day, Xiaomi India chief Manu Kumar Jain confirmed that the company would launch the Redmi Note 7 in the country later this month
Redmi Note 7: When is Launch date in India
As already stated in the title, Xiaomi will launch the Redmi Note 7 in India on February 28. Note that in the tweet Jain only talks about the Redmi Note 7 and not the Redmi Note 7 Pro. At this time, we are not sure whether Xiaomi will launch only the Redmi Note 7 in India while keeping the Redmi Note 7 Pro away. Traditionally, the company has launched both the standard and the Pro versions simultaneously. Nevertheless, as this time, we will assume that only the Redmi Note 7 is the one that will be launched later this month. We have embedded Manu Kumar Jain’s tweet below.
