Xiaomi announced MIUI 12 for India and shared the roll-out schedule for a few devices last month. The company has already rolled out MIUI 12 Stable update for a few smartphones such as POCO X2, Redmi Note 9, and Redmi Note 8 Pro. Now, the company has started rolling out MIUI 12 Stable update for Redmi Note 7 Pro users in India. The smartphone received Android 10 based MIUI 11 stable update a couple of months ago. The company has been testing MIUI 12 update for the Redmi Note 7 Pro for quite some time now under its MIUI pilot testing program and finally it has started rolling out stable build in phases.
Redmi Note 7 Pro has started receiving MIUI 12 update in India
As per various users on Twitter and other platforms, Redmi Note 7 Pro has started receiving Android 10 based MIUI 12 stable update in India. The update comes as MIUI 12.0.1.0.QFHINXM, weighs just 722MBs in size, and brings August Android security patch along with all the MIUI 12 features. The roll-out is in partial phase so you may or may not have received the update on your unit.
