Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 9 series made its global debut back in March in India. Since then Xiaomi has launched various models in Redmi Note 9 series in global markets. But, the company didn’t launch those devices in China, as the company is committed to releasing 5G devices only in the mid-range segment. Now, it looks like Redmi Note 9 series might finally make its way to China. Last week, a leak suggested that the company will soon introduce three Redmi Note 9 series devices in China. Now, a couple of new Xiaomi smartphones with model numbers M2007J22C and M2007J17C have appeared on TENAA certification. These devices said to launch as Redmi Note 9 5G and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G in China.
Redmi Note 9 5G: Rumoured Specifications
The TENAA listing for M2007J22C has confirmed that the smartphone will feature a 6.53-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen with a 2400×1080 pixel resolution. The device will feature a punch-hole notch on the top left corner, similar to the Redmi Note 9. A triple-rear camera setup with a circular camera module can also be seen in the images. The smartphone is rumored to pack a 48MP primary rear camera along with an ultra-wide-angle, and a macro lens. It will likely feature a 13MP selfie sensor. The smartphone will feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner similar to other Redmi Note 9 Pro series devices.
Apart from it, the TENAA listing has also confirmed a 4,900mAh battery unit on the device. Earlier, the 3C listing had revealed a 22.5W fast charging support on the device. The smartphone is rumored to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset, which comes with 5G support.
Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G: Rumoured Specifications
The Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G is rumored to be the rebranded version of Mi 10T Lite, which was launched recently in the European market. However, there might be some minor changes compared to the global version. As per TENAA listing, M2007J17C is confirmed to feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen with a 2400×1080 pixel resolution. The device will feature a punch-hole notch in the center, similar to the Redmi Note 9 Pro.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G is rumored to pack a 108MP quad-rear camera setup with a circular camera module. The other sensors are expected to feature an ultra-wide-angle, a macro, and a depth sensor. It will likely feature a 16MP selfie sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner similar to Mi 10T Lite. The device will feature a 4,720mAh battery unit along with 22.5W fast charging support.
