Redmi Note 9 Pro Max Receives Android 11-based MIUI 12 Update in India, Here’s the Changelog

Xiaomi has been pretty slow in rolling out Android 11 update for the handset, as it has been almost 10 months since the Android 11 started rolling out for various devices. In fact, just in 2 months, Google will probably roll out Android 12 stable build for Pixel devices. In case you have not received the update yet on your unit, you can head over to Settings section on your device, and check for the update.

Xiaomi is rolling out the update in a staged manner, so you may or may not have received the update on your unit. In the staged roll-out, an update is randomly pushed out to a limited number of users and a broader rollout follows a few days later.
