The company has unveiled the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max smartphones in the country and it might launch the vanilla Redmi Note 9 in the future. Contrary to earlier trends, the company has not announced the vanilla variant and has instead opted to launch a max variant of the pro model (yes, the terminology might confuse some). Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max: Key Differences

Truth be told, both devices feature almost similar specifications, but the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max has some added advantages over the Redmi Note 9 Pro. First up, the Redmi Note 9 Pro comes in two memory variants – 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB. The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, on the other hand, comes in three memory configurations – 6GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/128GB.

Moving on to the cameras, both Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max feature a quad rear camera setup, but the Redmi Note 9 Pro sports a 48MP primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture), whereas the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max flaunts a 64MP primary sensor (f/1.9). The remaining three cameras are the same. The front cameras found on the devices are also different. While the Redmi Note 9 Pro features a 16MP selfie shooter, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max comes with a whopping 32MP unit at the front.
