Xiaomi is celebrating its 9th anniversary in the Indian market. The company has kicked off a new marketing campaign to showcase the legacy of the Redmi Number series. To those unaware, the Redmi number series was introduced back in 2014 in the Indian market and has gone through 11 iterations so far.

The social media campaign suggests that the company might be gearing up to launch a new Redmi Number series smartphone in the Indian market, which could be the Redmi 12. Xiaomi hasn’t mentioned anything about the Redmi 12 or an upcoming Redmi Number series smartphone in the social media post. However, in case the company is gearing up to launch a new Redmi Number series smartphone, we can expect the company to share teasers in the next couple of days.

To those unaware, the Redmi 12 smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 processor. It offers a 90Hz LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and a centred punch-hole notch. The latest Redmi smartphone packs a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. It is equipped with a 5000mAh battery unit and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
