Xiaomi has scheduled an event in China on October 28th, where the brand will be launching the Redmi Note 11 series and the Redmi Watch 2. Alongside these products, Xiaomi will be also introducing the Redmi Smart Band Pro in China on October 28th. The Redmi Smart Band Pro will succeed the Redmi Smart Band which was launched in India back in September 2020. The upcoming fitness tracker is also tipped to be launched globally on October 28th. Redmi Smart Band Pro To Launch In China On October 28
According to the leaked renders and specifications, the Redmi Smart Band Pro will have a larger display. The Redmi Smart Band Pro will resemble as that of the Mi Band 6 and the Honor Band 6. It will also be a direct rival to the Huawei Watch Fit and Samsung Galaxy Fit wearables. As far as the rest of the specifications of Redmi Smart Band Pro go, it will also have a GPS support. Other features which the fitness tracker will offer include Bluetooth connectivity, various sports modes, and heart rate tracking support. We can also expect this upcoming fitness tracker to have a 5ATM water-resistant rating, music control feature, and much more.
To recall, the predecessor to the Redmi Smart Band Pro, the Redmi Smart Band came with a 1.08-inch LCD colour touch display. It offered 50+ watch faces support and had a 5ATM waterproof design. The fitness tracker also had five specific sports modes including power walking, exercise, cycling, treadmill, and outdoor running.
Apart from this, it also had a 24×7 heart rate monitoring support, sleep monitoring, and more such features. The Redmi Smart Band drew power from a 130mAh non-removable battery. It is capable of delivering a battery life of 14-days on a single full charge. The Redmi Smart Band was priced at Rs 1,599 in India and it came in green, black, orange, and blue colour options.
