Redmi Tablet with 7,800mAh Battery, MIUI 13 Listed on FCC; Specifications Tipped

The Redmi tablet will be a budget offering and is expected to launch very soon.


Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi might launch a new tablet very soon. The Redmi Tablet has been spotted on the FCC website ahead of its official launch. Xiaomi has not confirmed any details about the launch of the Redmi tab at the moment. However, the tablet could debut soon, courtesy of the FCC listing.

The FCC listing spotted by PriceBaba revealed that the Redmi Android tab has the model number 22081283G. The listing also revealed some of the key specifications of Redmi’s first tablet. In addition to the FCC listing, tipster Digital Chat Station (via) has also revealed some more details of the Redmi budget tab. Redmi Tablet Specifications Leaked

Redmi will launch a new budget Android tablet soon. According to the FCC listing, the Android tab will pack a 7,800mAh battery. The FCC listing also reveals that the upcoming Redmi tab will run MIUI 13 out of the box. It is expected to be based on Android 12. In addition to this, the FCC listing reveals that the Redmi tab will support dual-band WiFi. 

Tipster Digital Chat Station revealed some more details of the Redmi tab. According to the tipster, the budget Android tablet could sport a 10.61-inch IPS LCD with a 2000 x 1200 pixel resolution. Considering it is a budget tablet, it is safe to say that the Redmi tab will support a standard 60Hz refresh rate display.

A recent CMIIT listing revealed details of another Redmi tab, which has the model number 22081281AC. This model will support 5G and WiFi 802.11 ac. It will also support 67W fast charging.

Other details of the Redmi tab remain unknown. Xiaomi is expected to launch the tablet very soon in China. We can also expect the Redmi tab to debut in India as well.
