Xiaomi has its Mi line of TVs available in India. After launching quite a few Mi TV models, the Chinese smartphone brand could soon the Redmi TV in India. According to a new tip from tipster Mukul Sharma, Xiaomi could soon launch the Redmi TV in India. The tipster claims that Redmi TV India launch is scheduled for March 2021. Xiaomi will launch the Redmi TV at competitive prices. He further speculates that the Redmi Smart TV X series could launch in India. Redmi TV comes in three screen sizes. Xiaomi to bring Redmi TVs soon in India, could be Redmi Smart TV X series

Xiaomi has been offering its Mi TV across different price segments in India. The most affordable offering currently is the Mi LED TV 4A 32-inch which starts at Rs 13,999. Xiaomi Mi TV QLED 4K 55-inch is the most premium offering from the brand priced at Rs 54,999. With the Mi TV, Xiaomi has managed to capture a substantial market share in India in a short duration.

Now, Xiaomi is planning to further strengthen itself in the industry with the launch of Redmi TVs in India. According to Sharma, Redmi TV launch in India is slated for March 2021. The company will price the upcoming Redmi Smart TVs aggressively, he further added.

It is currently unknown which Smart TVs will Redmi launch in India. However, Sharma speculates that it could be the Redmi Smart TV X series that was launched last year in China. The Redmi Smart TV X comes in 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch screens.

Redmi Smart TV X series specifications

As mentioned earlier, the Redmi Smart TV X series comes in three screen sizes – 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch. It has a 97 percent screen to body ratio and an NTSC 85 percent colour gamut. The Redmi TV also comes with MEMC (Motion Estimation Motion Compensation) technology.

It has 12.5W quad speakers with an 8-unit subwoofer system. The Smart TV also supports Dolby audio and DTS-HD for an immersive audio experience.

It has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.
