Redmi has launched two new smart TVs in China. The brand has unveiled its Redmi TV X 2022 series TVs which consists of two new models – 55-inch and 65-inch. The new smart TVs are the successor to the Redmi TVs launched last year in China which was also launched in India earlier this year in India. Let’s take a look at the features, specifications, and pricing of the new Redmi TV X 2022 smart TVs.
Redmi TV X 2022 Pricing and Availability
The Redmi TV X 2022 comes in two screen sizes – the 55-inch model is priced at CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs 35,100) and the 65-inch model is priced at CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs 46,800). During the initial sale, the 55-inch variant will be available for CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs 31,600) and the 65-inch TV will be sold for CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs 41,000).
The new Redmi TVs are now up for pre-order in China and will start shipping from October 31 onwards.
Specifications and Features
Apart from the change in the screen size, the rest of the specs and features are the same between the two models. Both the 55-inch and the 65-inch models come with a 4K panel with 3840×2160 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The panel also supports 120Hz MEMC which should offer a better visual experience. Some of the display-related features include 10-bit colour, 94% P3 colour gamut, and support for Dolby Vision content. The TVs are also compatible with Xbox for gaming.
The new Redmi TV X 2022 series is powered by a quad-core MTK 9650 CPU with 4 Cortex A73 cores paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. For audio, the Redmi smart TVs come with a quad-speaker setup with a combined output of 2 x 12.5W along with Dolby Atmos support. As for the port options, there is support for two HDMI ports (eArc), one HDMI 2.1, one AV, and two USB, one RJ-45 and one S/PDIF.
