Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch of a new event in China. The company will host the Redmi Note 11 series event on October 28. At the event, the company is expected to announce at least two new smartphones, the Note 11 and Note 11 Pro 5G. Alongside, Xiaomi will also unveil a new smartwatch. The Redmi Watch 2 will debut alongside the Note 11 series in China. Ahead of the launch, Xiaomi has dropped an image, revealing the design of the wearable. Redmi Watch 2 launch
Xiaomi will launch the Redmi Watch 2 in China later this month. The wearable will be unveiled alongside the budget Redmi Note 11 series. Xiaomi’s teaser post confirms the design of the smartwatch. It will have a square-shaped screen with curved corners. The right edge of the smartwatch also has a button, which could be for accessing the menu options. The teaser post does not reveal any details of the watch.
We can expect it to have the most mainstream features like heart rate monitoring, SpO2 monitoring, sleep tracking, etc. Xiaomi will also offer support for multiple watch faces. The Redmi Watch 2 will also have several sports modes for tracking workouts and activities. These will include cycling, jogging, running, swimming, etc.
Xiaomi could drop more teasers in the coming days which will reveal the specs and features of the upcoming Redmi smartwatch. As mentioned, the Note 11 series also debuts at the same event. The company has confirmed that the phone will have JBL-tuned speakers and a quad-camera setup on the back. It will also have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Details about the devices have leaked as well. It looks like the Note 11 Pro Plus is set to make a debut alongside. It is expected to support 120W fast charging. Xiaomi could also pack a 5000 mAh battery in the Note 11 series.
