Redmi Watch 2 Price, Specifications Leaked on Retailer Website, Here’s How Much it Might Cost in India

Xiaomi will launch the Redmi Note 11 series on October 28 in China. The company will launch three new devices, namely the Redmi Note 11, Note 11 Pro, and Note 11 Pro Plus. Xiaomi has already started teasing some key details of the Redmi Note 11 series phones. Alongside the budget smartphones, Xiaomi will also launch a new smartwatch. The Redmi Watch 2 will be a new budget smartwatch that will launch alongside the Redmi Note 11 series. Xiaomi has already teased the design of the Redmi smartwatch. Ahead of the launch, the pricing details and specifications of the Redmi Watch 2 have leaked.

Redmi Watch 2 price 

According to a listing on JD.com spotted by 91Mobiles, the Redmi Watch 2 price in China will be set at CNY 399, which is roughly Rs 4,700. This means that the device will be priced slightly higher than the original Redmi Watch, which was launched for CNY 269 (roughly Rs 3,100).

In India, Xiaomi launched the original Redmi Watch for Rs 3,999. Considering the Watch 2 is getting a price bump, we can expect it to launch at around Rs 4,500 or even Rs 5,000 in India.

Specs and features 

Xiaomi has already confirmed that the Watch 2 will sport an AMOLED display. It has a square-shaped design with curved corners. We can expect Xiaomi to cut down some bezels at the bottom of the display to offer more screen estate. The smartwatch will feature a 1.6-inch screen, compared to a 1.4-inch LCD on the original Redmi Watch.

A teaser post also confirms the Pink colour strap on the Watch 2. It is likely to come in more options, including the Black strap which was teased previously. Other features expected include many health-related features like heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, SpO2 tracking, etc. The smartwatch is also expected to arrive with multiple sports modes for tracking workouts. In addition, it will come with a water resistance rating as well.
