Reliance Jio has announced a new eSports tournament called JioMart Gameathon. The new mobile gaming tournament is set to debut on October 30, marking Reliance Jio’s entry in the eSports and online gaming space. The company will begin the JioMart Gameathon with Garena Free Fire tournament. After PUBG Mobile’s ban in India, JioMart Gameathon collaboration with Garena Free Fire will help the latter hold a stronger foot in the Indian gaming space. Interested players can register for the gaming tournament and be eligible to win a prize pool of Rs 25,000.
JioMart Gameathon Free Fire tournament registration: Here are the details
Reliance JioMart Gameathon registrations have begun today (October 26) and will go on till October 29 through the JioGames portal. You can register for the JioMart Gameathon Free Fire tournament by clicking here. To complete the registration process, players will have to create a team by visiting the registration website and enter the Game ID and In-Game name. Then, click on “FreeFire tournament” and click on the ‘JOIN’ button.
JioMart Gameathon Free Fire tournament rules
The gaming tournament will begin on October 30 and will have four rounds with 576 teams. Each team can have 4 players.
Only 96 teams will get qualified for the quarter-finals, and out of these, 24 teams will go into the semi-finals. For the fourth round, only 12 teams will be hosted in a single lobby with three maps for the grand finale. Each kill will bring 2 points for the team. Leaving the spawn island will cost 10 points.
JioMart Gameathon Free Fire tournament prize pool
JioMart Gameathon Free Fire tournament prize pool is set at Rs 25,000. The winning team will get Rs 16,000, whereas the runner-up team wins Rs 8,000. The most valuable player will win Rs 1,000. The prize money will be credited to the player’s JioMart Wallet.
Keep in mind that JioMart Gameathon is a mobile-only tournament and tablets, emulators, triggers etc. would not be allowed.
