Reliance Jio has recently launched it latest JioPostpaid services which include an array of benefits for domestic and international travelers. The company has also introduced in-flight internet connectivity, and more among the other. Today the telco has launched three new in-flight connectivity packs, which is available for both prepaid and postpaid users. According to the company, the in-flight connectivity packs starting at Rs 499. These packs will give access to high-speed internet along with voice calling and SMS benefits.
Jio has joined hands with 22 airlines and this feature will be valid only these 22 flights. Additionally, the telco has also revamped the Rs 1,101 and Rs 1,201 international roaming packs. The company has replaced both the packs with Rs 1,102 and Rs 1,202 respectively with Wi-Fi calling. At the launch of the JioPostpaid Plus plans the company has introduced the in-flight connectivity support. But it has not disclosed the plans at the launch. Now the company has officially listed the new packs which will include the new feature.
The in-flight connectivity plans include Rs 499, Rs 699, and Rs 999. Do note that all the plans have a validity of only one day. Here’s have a closer look at the newly launched in-flight connectivity plans.
Rs 499 In-Flight Connectivity Plan
The Rs 499 plan comes with a total data of 250MB, subscriber will also receive 100 minutes of outgoing voice calls, and 100 SMS. You will be able to access high-speed internet and calling facility during your flight hours. However, the in-flight connectivity plan will be available for only one day.
Rs 699 In-Flight Connectivity Plan
The Rs 699 plan comes with 500MB 4G data and 100 minutes of outgoing calling with 100 SMS messages. The validity of this plan is also one day.
Rs 999 In-Flight Connectivity Plan
The Rs 999 in-flight connectivity plan offers 1GB data along with 100 SMS and 100 minutes voice calls for a day validity.
Reportedly, Jio don’t allow coming calls on the in-flight connectivity plan, but the SMS messages are free without any charges. As mentioned above, Jio has joined hands with 22 airlines to provide the coverage of these new packs in majority of airlines.
