The upcoming Reno 6 series is rumoured to consist of three devices – the vanilla Reno 6 model, Reno 6 Pro and the Reno 6 Pro+. All these handsets have already received the TENAA certification in China recently. The TENAA listing had revealed the phone’s design and detailed specifications a few days ago. OPPO Reno 6 Launch Set For May 27th in China
As mentioned above, OPPO has officially confirmed the Reno 6 lineup launch on May 27th. The company had revealed a short video on its official Weibo handle today morning which confirmed the launch date of the Reno 6 series as May 27th. If we have a recap of the specifications, the vanilla Reno 6 model (OPPO PEQM00) is tipped to feature a 6.43-inch display. Under the hood, the phone might be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset. The handset might measure at around 156.8×72.1×7.59mm, as revealed by the preliminary TENAA certification. The phone is considered to packs a dual 2100mAh battery. As far as the imaging aspect of the device go, it is rumoured to feature a 64MP primary main camera. For the selfies and video-calling, the phone might sport a 32MP camera.
As far as the specs of the Reno 6 Pro and the Reno 6 Pro+ are considered, both these smartphones are speculated to sport a 6.43-inch OLED display. The Reno 6 Pro might be powered by Dimensity 1200 SoC, while the Reno 6 Pro+ might be equipped by Snapdragon 870 chipset. All the three Reno 6 series phones might ship with 8GB/12GB of RAM along with 128GB/256GB of internal storage. On the software side of things, these devices are expected to run Android 11 out of the box with ColorOS 11 skin. Under the hood, the Reno 6 Pro and Reno 6 Pro+ might pack a 4500mAh battery.
