Taiwanese tech giant Asus has announced a special edition of its ROG Zephyrus G14 gaming laptop in India. The company, yesterday, announced the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 Alan Walker Special Edition in India, which is a 14-inch gaming laptop built in association with DJ and music producer Alan Walker. The laptop comes with special colour options that are unique to this edition, though the spec sheet remains pretty standard for the Zephyrus G14 series. The new laptop has a custom ROG remix sampler, which is unique to the Alan Walker edition of the device.
What’s new in the ROG Zephyrus G14 Alan Walker Special Edition?
As mentioned before, the special Alan Walker edition of the laptop will have new colours and styling options. The accents along the laptop will have the Spectre Blue shade and the AniMe Matrix LED array. A similar colour tone is seen on the nameplate as well, along with the signature ROG logo. The company says that the nameplate was made using a physical vapour deposition process, which gives it a certain reflectivity from certain angles. The laptop has a cyberpunk look and two fabric belts across the lid, which use reflective text and matrix LEDs.
It has an acrylic top cover that has been selected by Walker himself and a special packaging that other versions of the Zephyrus G14 won’t get. You can connect the box to the Zephyrus G14 using a USB Type C Cable, which turns it into the ROG Remix sampler. It has conductive pads on the surface and allows users to trigger 18 of Walker’s own sound effects on the laptop. You can also import your own tunes into the custom software that’s built into the device. Special Alan Walker inspired animations are also included on the main screen of the laptop and the ANime Matrix panel.

On the other hand, the specs remain the same on this one. It runs on the AMD Ryzen 0 5900HS chip and has an 8GB SO DIMM slot along with onboard 8GB DDR4 3200 MHz RAM. There’s also 1TB SSD storage using an M.2 NVMe PCIe3.0x2 slot. You get the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050Ti GPU with 4GB DDR6 VRAM.
The Zephyrus G14 also has a 14-inch QHD IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate. There’s a backlit chiclet keyboard with 1.7mm key travel, four hotkeys and a fingerprint sensor cum power button. It has two 2.5W speakers and 0.7W array microphones.
The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 Alan Walker edition is available for Rs 1,49,990. It is being sold on Amazon, Asus’ ROG stores, Reliance and Croma.
