Update: The Samsung Galaxy A01 Core has now been spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification website. Not only that, the Korean and Russian support pages for the device have also been made live on the company’s official website, thereby hinting at an imminent launch. Yesterday, we were able to spot a new entry-level Samsung Android smartphone on the Bluetooth SIG certification website, dubbed the Samsung Galaxy A01 Core. The Bluetooth certification for the Samsung Galaxy A01 Core hinted at an imminent launch, but it did not give us any intel surrounding its specifications and features. Well, as it turns out, we now have a working clue as to what to expect from the device, as it has today been spotted on the Google Play Console Listing and the Google Play Support listing websites, which contain crucial information surrounding its key specifications. Take a look at what we know about the Samsung Galaxy A01 Core smartphone so far.

Samsung Galaxy A01 Core appears on the Google Play Console listing; specifications revealed

As seen in the Google Play Console listing image, the Samsung Galaxy A01 Core will feature a MediaTek MT6739 processor, which will have 4x ARM Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1500MHz. The chipset will be paired with a PowerVR GE8100 GPU and 1GB of RAM. Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy A01 Core will come with an HD display with a 720 x 1,480 pixel resolution and a screen density of 320 DPI. On the software side of things, the Samsung Galaxy A01 Core will ship with the latest Android 10 OS out of the box. The Google Play Console listing also has an image of the device, but it could very well be a placeholder image, so we cannot say for sure as to whether or not the Samsung Galaxy A01 Core would look like this. Nevertheless, we have an idea as to what’s to expect from the device given its budget nature.

Other than what we mentioned above, the rest of the details about the Samsung Galaxy A01 Core are relatively unknown so far, but we can expect the device to appear on more certification websites ahead of its launch schedule and whenever it does, we will make it a point to keep you posted on the same.
