Samsung could launch a new budget smartphone under the Galaxy A-series soon. The company seems to be working on a new variant of the Galaxy A12s. Another smartphone under the series that could debut soon is the Galaxy A03s. The budget smartphone has visited a few certification websites ahead of its launch. It has also got the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification, hinting at an imminent launch. In the latest development, Samsung’s upcoming phone is listed on the FCC website. Samsung is gearing up for the Galaxy A03s launch in India. Ahead of the launch, the device has visited the FCC website revealing key specs. The listing on the FCC website reveals the device’s battery capacity details. It has the model number HQ-50S, which has a typical capacity of 5000 mAh. The same is confirmed via the TUV certification.

Recently, the Samsung smartphone was listed on the Geekbench website with the model number SM-A037F. It revealed that the phone draws power from a MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. The performance unit also features 4GB of RAM under the hood. Samsung could launch another RAM option of the Galaxy A03s as well. The phone runs Android 11 out of the box and will have a layer of OneUI 3.0 on top of Android.

The phone’s other details have leaked in the past. It is rumoured to come with a 6.5-inch display. The notch on the top will have a 5MP front camera, according to the leaked information.

Samsung’s upcoming budget smartphone will have a triple-camera setup on the back. It will have a 13MP primary camera, coupled with two other 2MP sensors. The Galaxy A03s will feature a USB Type-C port, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
