Samsung Galaxy A04 Gets Listed on NBTC Certification Website and Should be Launched Soon

Samsung Galaxy A04 has also cleared BIS certification, so India launch is definitely on the cards.

Last week an upcoming Samsung Galaxy smartphone with model number SM-A045F/DS was spotted on the FCC certification website. We can now confirm that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy device is the Samsung Galaxy A04. The SM-A045F/DS has made an appearance on yet another certification website – NBTC and this time the listing reveals the moniker of the device – the Samsung Galaxy A04, as we expected. Alongside, the handset has cleared BIS certification as well.

The upcoming Galaxy A04 will be the successor to the last year’s Galaxy A03 and will be an entry-level smartphone. The appearance of the device on several certification websites does hint toward an imminent launch. The upcoming Galaxy A04 made an appearance on the BIS and NBTC certification databases with model number SM-A045F/DS. The certification listings for the device do not reveal anything in terms of the specifications or features.

Samsung Galaxy A04 Specifications and Features

As mentioned above, the Galaxy A04 had previously made an appearance on the FCC certification database which revealed that the device will come with a 4900mAh rated capacity battery. Whereas, the typical capacity of the device’s battery would be 5000 mAh. The listing also revealed that the upcoming A-series handset will support 15W fast charging.

The upcoming Galaxy A04 was also spotted on the WiFi Alliance last month which revealed that it will support WiFi a/b/g/n/ac on 2.4GHz as well as 5GHz. The listing also revealed that the device will come pre-loaded with Android 12, but as usual we can expect it to feature OneUI skin on top.

As of now, only this much is known about the upcoming A-series device. However, we can expect the device to appear on other certification websites in the coming weeks.
