Samsung has silently announced its latest budget offering, the Samsung Galaxy A11. The device has been a part of the leaks and rumors that have been popping up on the internet lately and finally the Korean brand decided to give it an official stamp. It is pretty weird to see that Samsung has not released an official press release for the Samsung Galaxy A11 (yet). Furthermore, the official specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A11 mentioned on its product page are anything but complete, at least for now. Still, take a look at all the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A11 that we have been able to know so far. There are also these official press renders, which will give you a working clue as to what the device looks like. So, without waiting any further, let’s get started.
Samsung Galaxy A11: Specifications and Features
Starting off with the display of the device, the Samsung Galaxy A11 sports a 6.4-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,560 pixels. The display of the device makes room for a single punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper. The punch-hole is located in the top left corner of the display. The device measures 161.4 x 76.3 x 8 mm and weighs in at 177 grams.
Speaking of cameras, the Samsung Galaxy A11 accommodates an 8MP selfie snapper with f/2.0 aperture. Moving around on the back of the device, there’s a triple rear camera setup located in the top left corner, which includes a 13MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 5MP ultra wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The Samsung Galaxy A11 comes with a physical fingerprint scanner, which is mounted on the back of the device. As far as the color variants are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy A11 comes in four color options – Black, White, Red, and Blue.
Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy A11 is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core processor, the make of which is not specified yet. Coupled with the processor are 2GB/3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. The internal storage of the Samsung Galaxy A11 has scope for further expansion via an external SD card.
A 4,000mAh battery keeps the lights of the Samsung Galaxy A11 on. Interestingly enough, the Samsung Galaxy A11 comes with support for up to 15W fast charging (wired), which is interesting because the device falls under the entry-level segment of the Android ecosystem. Though not mentioned, we can speculate that the Samsung Galaxy A11 will feature a USB Type-C charging port. Plus, earlier leaks suggest that the device will retain a 3.5mm headphone jack, which will be situated at the top of the device.
On the software side of things, the Samsung Galaxy A11 will run the latest Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s very own One UI skin baked atop it.
