Samsung is working towards the launch of the newer Galaxy A12 variant. The device was spotted at FCC certification yesterday. The FCC listing had revealed the charging capability details of the device ahead of launch. The same handset even had gained the required Bluetooth SIG certification a few days back. Now, in a recent development, the Galaxy A12 (Galaxy A12s as per previous reports) is spotted on the Google Play Console listing. As per the Google Play Console listing, the upcoming Galaxy A12 variant will pack an Exynos 850 chipset and 3GB of RAM. As per the details revealed by the Google Play Console listing, the Galaxy A12 will pack Exynos 850 SoC and 3GB of RAM. On the software front, the device will run Android 11 out of the box. The device’s display will have a pixel density of 300PPI, as per the detailed outed by Google Play Console listing. The phone carries a model number as SM-A127F and SM-A127M respectively. As far as the other specifications of the device is concerned, this upcoming Galaxy A12 variant is supposed to offer the same specifications as that of the earlier A12 model which debuted last year.

The last year’s Galaxy A12 smartphone came up with MediaTek’s Helio P35 SoC. In the newer variant, the rest of the specs are reportedly going to remain the same, except that there will be a change in the hardware. The Galaxy A12 will feature a 6.5-inch HD+ display. The phone will be powered by Exynos 850 SoC. The device is said to launch in 3GB + 32GB storage, 4GB+64GB storage, 4GB + 128GB storage configuration. As for the optics, the phone is supposed to feature a quad-camera setup which might consist of a 48MP main camera, 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a pair of 2MP sensor. On the front side, the device will 8MP selfie camera. The device will feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Similar to the earlier Galaxy A12 model, the newer variant is also said to launch in Black, White and Blue colour options.
