Samsung launched the Galaxy A12 smartphone in India back in August. The device was introduced in India for Rs 13,999. The top-end variant of the Galaxy A12 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage retailed for Rs 16,499. Now, in a recent development, Samsung has reduced the price of the smartphone in India by Rs 1,000. The company has hiked the price of both the 4GB and 6GB RAM Galaxy A12 variants in the country. As per the revised pricing details from the retail sources, the Samsung Galaxy A12 4GB RAM variant with 64GB of internal storage now costs Rs 12,999, whereas the 6GB RAM model can be purchased for Rs 15,499. Prior to the price reduction, the Galaxy A13 base variant retailed for Rs 13,999, while the 6GB RAM model was sold for Rs 16,499.

The Samsung Galaxy A12 features a 6.5-inch TFT LCD display. The display panel has a HD+ 720 x 1600 pixels resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone comes powered by an octa-core Exynos 850 processor. The device packs up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The handset also has microSD card support for extra storage expansion. On the software front, the A12 runs Android 11 out of the box.
