Samsung had quietly unveiled the Galaxy A23 5G earlier this month. The company announced the specs of its new mid-range 5G smartphone without revealing the price. Samsung has now confirmed the official launch date of the Galaxy A23 5G in Taiwan. The company will also launch the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G alongside. Samsung Galaxy A13 5G Specifications and Price
Samsung has officially revealed the price and specifications of the Galaxy A13 5G. The phone will launch on September 1 in Taiwan. It will launch in Black, Blue and White colours. The Galaxy A13 5G will have a starting price of NTD 6,990 (roughly Rs 18,500) for the base 4GB + 64GB option. The 4GB + 128GB variant is priced at NTD 7,990 (roughly Rs 21,200).
The Galaxy A13 5G features a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC under the hood. It packs a 5000 mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging. There is a triple-camera setup on the back. The phone has a 50MP main camera along with two 2MP sensors for depth mapping and macro photography. For selfies, the phone has a 5MP front camera inside the water-drop notch.
There is a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with an HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate support. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and AI face unlock. It measures 164.5 x 76.5 x 8.8 mm and supports Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, etc. The phone also features a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port.
Samsung Galaxy A23 5G Price and Specifications
The Galaxy A23 5G comes with 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB storage options. It is priced at NTD 8990 (roughly Rs 23,800) and NTD 9990 (roughly Rs 26,500), respectively. The phone arrives in Black, Peach and Blue colours. It will be available for purchase starting September 16.
The Galaxy A23 5G features a Snapdragon 695 SoC and a 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. The phone sports a 6.6-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD with 120Hz refresh rate support. On the back, the phone has a quad-camera setup with a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) support. There is also a 5MP ultrawide camera along with two 2MP sensors for depth and macro. The phone features an 8MP front camera.
The Galaxy A23 5G measures 165.4 x 76.9 x 8.4 mm. Both phones run Android 12-based OneUI 4.1 out of the box.
