Back in September, the existence of the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G came under the light and since then, as days passed, we have been getting new pieces of information about the phone. The Galaxy A13 5G could be the cheapest 5G phone that Samsung will offer and last month, the phone was spotted on Geekbench. As per the Geekbench listing, the phone is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 and today, the key specifications and price of the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G have been tipped online. A tipster has not just shared key specs, but he has also shared the modest pricing of the phone.

As per the tipster, the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 5G SoC, paired with 4GB, 6GB or 8GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB onboard storage. The Dimensity 700 SoC is notably 2.8x faster than the Helio P35 SoC on Galaxy A12.

The tipster also suggested that the phone would come with a 6.48-inch full HD+ LCD Display. In terms of camera, the phone will sport a triple camera setup on the back consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera coupled with a 5-megapixel ultra-wide and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone will come with a big 5000mAh battery and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The price is $249, as quoted by the tipster and this kind of pricing may really translate to some good sales for Samsung. However, apart from these key specifications and the $249 price, nothing much is known about the phone. Earlier, when it was spotted on Geekbench with the model number SM-A136U, the 4GB variant of the phone scored 465 and 1100 in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests.

However, we’re expecting that Samsung will launch the phone in India as well and it would be great if the device comes with OneUI 4.0 out of the box on top of Android 12 alongside a price of under Rs 15,000. So, we are keeping an eye on the device and will be sharing updates related to the phone.
