Samsung has launched two new Galaxy A-series smartphones. The company unveiled the Samsung Galaxy A13 4G alongside the Galaxy A23 4G. The budget smartphones come with a quad-camera setup on the back. They also feature an octa-core processor under the hood.

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy A13 and A23 4G soon in India. The company has not yet confirmed the official launch date of the devices in India. Samsung Galaxy A13 4G Price

Samsung has not yet announced the official pricing details of the Galaxy A13 4G. A report claims that the phone will cost €190 (around Rs 15,800). For the price, users get 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There is also a 4GB + 128GB variant, which is priced at €210 (around Rs 17,500). It will be launched in multiple storage options in different markets. The company has announced variants with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage as well.

Samsung has launched the Galaxy A23 4G in three RAM options. The base model will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone has also been launched with 6GB and 8GB of RAM along with up to 128GB of internal storage. There is no official word on the price. Samsung has unveiled both devices in four colours – Peach, White, Blue and Black.

Specifications and Features

Both phones are identical with some differences here and there. The rear panel houses a quad-camera setup. Samsung has launched the phones with a 50MP main camera sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. The device also comes with a 5MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture. In addition to this, the phone has two 2MP sensors for depth and macro shooting. For selfies, the phone has an 8MP f/2.3 front camera sensor.

The front camera is housed inside a waterdrop notch. The screen has slightly thick bezels, especially the chin. Both phones have a 6.6-inch LCD panel with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels. The screen has a standard 60Hz refresh rate support and a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. 

Under the hood, the Galaxy A13 has an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. Samsung has not mentioned the processor name in its press release. Reports suggest the phone has an Exynos 850 chipset. The SoC comes with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The Galaxy A23 has an octa-core processor clocked at 2.4GHz, which could be the Exynos 1200 SoC.

The phones pack a 5000 mAh battery. The A13 4G supports 15W fast charging, whereas the A23 4G has 25W fast charging support. Both phones weigh 195 grams and run Android 12-based One UI 4.1 out of the box.
