Samsung might launch new Galaxy A-series phones soon. The company is expected to launch the Galaxy A14 series in the coming weeks. The exact launch date of the Galaxy A14 series is unknown but the latest update suggests that the launch is imminent. Samsung Galaxy A4 5G has been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. The device is one of the two offerings expected to launch in the A14 series.
The phone will launch in India and other markets soon. Before Samsung announces the launch details of the Galaxy A14 5G, here’s a quick look at everything that is known about the phone.
Samsung Galaxy A14 5G BIS
The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G will be a new budget 5G smartphone from the company. It is listed on the BIS website ahead of its debut. The device has the model number SM-A146B/DS. The BIS listing does not reveal any details about the Galaxy A14 5G. However, the listing on the database does hint at an imminent launch of the Galaxy 5G phone.
The device was recently spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance website as well. It revealed that the Galaxy A14 5G will support 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi. In addition to this, the phone will run Android 13 out of the box. It will have a layer of One UI 5.0 on top of Android.
A separate report revealed the design renders of the Galaxy A14 in the past. The renders showed that the upcoming Samsung 5G phone will sport a flat frame design and house a triple-camera setup on the back. It does not have a camera module per se but the phone has three circular rings as cutouts for the camera sensors. There is also an LED flash next to the sensors.
On the front, there is a water-drop notch, which Samsung will call an Infinity-U display. The display is surrounded by fairly thin bezels, except for the chin. It also sports a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The budget smartphone has a 3.5mm headphone jack along with a USB Type-C port. There is also a speaker grille at the bottom.
