Samsung is expected to launch a new entry-level smartphone under the A-series – the Samsung Galaxy A14 in the coming weeks. Recently, we spotted the upcoming Galaxy A14 on the Geekbench benchmark database. The benchmark listing for the device revealed the processor and memory details. Now, a new report by GalaxyClub reveals the camera and battery specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A14.

The Samsung Galaxy A14 renders were previously leaked on the web which revealed that Samsung will make some design changes on the upcoming entry-level A-series smartphone. Let us take a closer look at the Samsung Galaxy A14 camera and battery specifications.

Samsung Galaxy A14 Might get a 50MP Camera and 5000mAh Battery

The report by GalaxyClub reveals that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A14 will retain the high-resolution 50MP camera from its predecessor. To those unaware, the Galaxy A13 offers a quad-rear camera setup including a 50MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. However, Samsung will likely skip one of the sensors this time around since the leaked renders revealed a triple-rear camera setup on the Galaxy A14.

The report further claims that the Samsung Galaxy A14 will come equipped with a 5,000mAh battery (model number EB-BA146ABY). This means that in terms of battery, we are not going to see any upgrades compared to the Galaxy A13. The report also suggests that the upcoming A-series smartphone will offer a 13MP front shooter which will be an upgrade compared to the 8MP sensor which was found on the Galaxy A13.

Samsung Galaxy A14: What We Know So Far

The Samsung Galaxy A14 was recently spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database which revealed the presence of a MediaTek Helio G80 processor and a Mali G52 GPU. The Helio G80 is quite an old processor and is used in several smartphones such as Redmi 9 Prime, POCO M2, Realme Narzo 10, and Tecno Pova.

The Galaxy A14 is confirmed to retail in a 4GB memory configuration. However, it is also expected to launch in the 6GB memory configuration. The handset will ship with Android 13 based OneUI out of the box.

The renders of the upcoming Galaxy A14 have already been leaked on the web, which reveals that the device will come equipped with a triple rear camera setup. Samsung seems to be ditching the rectangular camera module design and the rear panel looks quite similar to the Samsung Galaxy A04s.

The leaked renders also revealed that the upcoming Galaxy A14 will feature a full-screen display with a waterdrop notch and a big chin. The smartphone will make use of a Type-C charging port and will also offer a 3.5mm audio jack.
