Samsung Galaxy A22 5G Design Renders Leaked Revealing Triple Camera Setup, Infinity-U Display

Samsung launched the two new Galaxy A-series devices – the Galaxy A52 and the Galaxy A72 last month. Now, the Korean smartphone maker seems to be prepping up for the launch of yet another Galaxy A-series handset dubbed as the Galaxy A22. Recently, we at MySmartPrice had spotted this upcoming smartphone at Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification. Now, the renders of the Galaxy A22 are revealed online courtesy of popular leakster OnLeaks. The newly leaked renders reveal the handset in full glory ahead of its launch. Additionally, few specifications of the device are even disclosed which suggests us that it could be Samsung’s cheapest 5G handset.

Galaxy A22 Renders And Specifications Revealed

The Galaxy A22 will feature a 6.5-inch Infinity-V notch display. Dimensions-wise the device will measure at around 167.2 x 76.4 x 8.7mm. The phone will come with a plastic back panel. In terms of optics, the smartphone will feature a triple-camera setup. Currently, we don’t have any details regarding the front camera of the phone as of now. If we have a closer look at the bottom of the phone, we can see that the handset will house a 3.5mm audio jack. On the right side, the device will be equipped with a fingerprint sensor that will be embedded in a home button.

The Galaxy A22 is believed to succeed the Galaxy A21 smartphone which was launched last year. The hardware specifications of the Galaxy A22 still remain to be a mystery at the moment. It is being reported earlier that Samsung will launch this upcoming device both in 4G and 5G versions. The Galaxy A22 4G model was recently spotted on BIS certification. The 4G Galaxy A22 variant bears the model number as SM-A225F, while the 5G model is in the pipeline with model number as SM-A226B. The Galaxy A22 is believed to launch as Samsung’s cheapest 5G handset. It is expected to retail for around KRW 200,000 (Rs 13,425).

The smartphone is supposed to launch in South Korea, India, Southeast Asia, and some European markets. Past rumours suggest us that this device will feature a 48-megapixel main primary camera. On the software front, the A22 might run Android 11 out of the box, as revealed by the preliminary HTML5 test earlier. The phone is expected to release in two storage models. It might be available in Gray, White, Light Green, and Violet colour option.

The launch date of the Galaxy A22 remains to be unknown currently. Now, that the device has started appearing on few certifications, and its renders are emerging out, we can expect Samsung to reveal the official launch date of the smartphone in the upcoming days.
