Samsung has launched quite a few A-series smartphones this year. After the launch of the Galaxy A52 and the A72, the company is now working on launching a budget Galaxy A-series smartphone. The Galaxy A22 has been spotted on the TUV SUD certification website. The website reveals the model number of the device and its battery charging speeds. As per the listing, the phone has the model number SM-A226B/DS. It will come with 15W fast charging support out of the box. The 5G smartphone will launch very soon. Samsung Galaxy A22 5G is expected to launch soon. Ahead of the launch, the device has visited the TUV SUD certification website.
The listing on TUV SUD reveals the device’s model number and fast-charging support. As per the listing, the device has the model number SM-A226B/DS. It comes with 15W fast charging support. The TUV SUD listing does not reveal any further details.
Previously, design render images of the phone had leaked online. The images revealed some key Galaxy A22 5G specifications. It will sport a 6.5-inch Infinity-V notch display and a triple-camera setup on the back. Rumours suggest that the phone will come with a 48MP primary camera.
A Geekbench listing had also revealed that the performance unit details of the device. It will draw power from a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. It will pack 6GB of RAM and run Android 11 out of the box. We can expect the phone to have a layer of OneUI 3.0 on top of Android.
The device could launch at around KRW 200,000 (Rs 13,425). Samsung is likely to debut the 5G smartphone in Southeast Asia, Europe, South Korea, and the Indian market. It will come in four colours – Gray, White, Light Green, and Violet.
