It has the same model number as the upcoming Galaxy A22 5G. This suggests that Samsung could launch the device as the A22s in some regions. The listing reveals some of the key specifications of the upcoming Samsung smartphone. The company has not yet announced the official launch details of the device at the moment. Samsung could launch the Galaxy A22s 5G very soon. Ahead of the launch, the device has visited the Google Play Console, revealing key specs.

The device listed on the Google Play Console has the model number SM-A226B. It has the same model number as the Galaxy A22 5G, which is expected to launch soon. Samsung could soon the device as A22s in some regions with a different moniker.

The Google Play Console listing reveals that the device draws power from a MediaTek MT633 SoC, which is the codename for Dimensity 700 SoC. It has a Mali G57 GPU and 4GB of RAM under the hood. The phone runs Android 11 out of the box. We can expect it to have a layer of OneUI 3.0 on top of Android.

An image attached to the listing reveals that the device will have a waterdrop display. The bezels around the display are thin, except for the thick chin bezel. It has a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2009 pixels.
