Samsung Galaxy A23 5G, Galaxy A04s Listed on BIS Website
The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G with SM-A236E/DS model number and the Galaxy A04s with SM-A047F/DS model number have been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website in India. While the website does not reveal much, the Galaxy A series duo could launch soon as they’ve bagged multiple certifications in the past and now that the devices have secured BIS certification, we can expect an imminent launch of the phones in India.
Based on the Geekbench report, the Galaxy A23 5G will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 695 SoC chipset clock speed of 2.21GHz. The chipset will be paired with Adreno 619 GPU to handle gaming and graphics. The device will come with 4GB of RAM and will run on Android 12 out of the box, which is likely to be based on OneUI 4.1 skin.
On the other hand, the more affordable and 4G-only Galaxy A04s will run on Android 12 out of the box. The device will be powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 850 processor, which is an octa-core chipset built on an 8nm fabrication process. This will be paired with ARM Mali-G52 MP1 GPU as well. The device is tipped to feature 3GB RAM but, we can expect multiple variants of the device.
