Samsung Galaxy A23 Listed on Geekbench with Snapdragon 680 SoC, Android 12; Expected to Launch Soon

Samsung might launch a new A-series smartphone very soon in India and other markers. The Galaxy A23 could be a new mid-range smartphone offering from the brand. There is no official word on the launch date of the Samsung Galaxy A23 in India. The launch seems imminent as the phone is listed on the Geekbench website.

The listing on Geekbench confirms some of the key performance unit specs of the Galaxy A23. Design render images of the device have also leaked earlier this month. Let’s take a look at the Samsung Galaxy A23 specifications, features and other details leaked ahead of the launch.

Samsung Galaxy A23 Geekbench

Samsung Galaxy A23 is listed on the Geekbench website with the model number SM-A235F. The device’s processor details have also leaked. As per the Geekbench listing, the phone will draw power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC. It is an octa-core processor that has four performance cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four efficiency cores clocked at 1.9GHz.

The variant listed on Geekbench has 4GB of RAM. We can expect Samsung to launch the phone with 6GB of RAM as well. The phone will come with Android 12 out of the box. As expected, it will have a layer of One UI 4.1 on top of Android. The listing also reveals that the phone scored 383 and 1618 out in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests.

A separate report by tipster OnLeaks and CollegeDunia leaked the device’s design renders. The phone will have a 6.6-inch waterdrop notch display. Samsung is expected to use an IPS LCD panel here. The device has a rectangular camera module on the back. It will have a quad-camera setup with a 50MP main camera sensor. The phone will also have an 8MP ultrawide camera and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro.
