Samsung is rumoured to launch many smartphones next month. The company has officially confirmed the launch of the S22 series in February for the global market. During the same month, the company is also expected to announce new mid-range smartphones under the A-series. These include the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G and the Galaxy A53 5G.
There is currently no official word on the launch date of the upcoming Samsung smartphones. However, we can expect an imminent launch, courtesy of the support pages going live. Let’s take a look at the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G, Galaxy A53 5G specifications, features and other details.
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G, A53 5G support pages
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A53 5G support pages are live on the official website. The devices have also been spotted on the HTML5 Test application. The latter reveals that the devices run Android 12 out of the box. As expected, they will come with a layer of One UI 4.0 on top of the Android operating system.
The support pages on Samsung’s UK website reveal the model numbers of the devices. The Galaxy A53 5G has the model number SM-A536B, whereas the Galaxy A33 5G has the model number SM-A336B. The devices have also been listed on multiple other Samsung websites, including Russia, Vietnam, Switzerland, etc.
Other details of the Samsung smartphones have leaked in the past. Starting with the A33 5G, the phone will support 25W fast charging but could come with a 15W fast charging adapter as per an FCC listing. The phone will pack a 5,000mAh battery. It will sport a 6.4-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display with a waterdrop notch cutout.
The device’s rear panel will have a quad-camera setup and is rumoured to feature a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 5MP macro camera and lastly, a 2MP depth sensor.
Samsung Galaxy A53 5G specs
The Galaxy A53 5G will also have a quad-camera setup on the back. There will be a 64MP main camera, an 8MP or a 12MP ultrawide shooter. The phone will also have the same 5MP macro camera and a 2MP sensor found on the A33 5G.
It will sport a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a hole punch cutout at the top centre. The phone will have a 32MP front camera. It is said to draw power from an Exynos 1200 SoC and feature at least 8GB of RAM. The device will pack a 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging.
